Client Charter

Source operates within the following codes of ethics and operating standards which allow us to achieve best practice in our service to our client population.

  1. To be open, honest and fair in all of our dealings.

  2. To declare any potential conflict of interest to the client before agreeing to undertake a recruitment brief.

  3. To ensure that our Terms of Business are received and fully understood by the client before conducting any recruitment assignment.

  4. To abide by a mutually agreed Service Level Agreement. Where an SLA is not in place, to agree anticipated timescales and key deliverables in advance of commencing delivery on assignments.

  5. To abide by the provisions of all the relevant laws relating to our business, including equal opportunity and anti-discrimination legislation, and to ensure that we select candidates to present to our client in a fair, unambiguous and non-discriminatory manner and present their details as accurately as possible.

  6. Not to dispatch or refer candidate details to a client unless candidates have been contacted and permission received. This is with the exception of candidates who have given prior permission for their details to be freely marketed with those clients that we consider could offer the right opportunity.

  7. To maintain regular contact with both the client and candidate during the recruitment process, ensuring that both parties are aware of developments.

  8. Not to retain any information about the client or candidate that may influence the other party’s decision.

  9. To view candidate references where requested for the client in an objective and professional manner, once mutual interest has been established by both parties, but with deference to the candidate’s confidentiality prior to an offer being made and accepted.

  10. To ensure, as far as possible, that our clients’ experience of our selection processes is a positive one. To recognise that our clients are investing time and expenditure to gain a positive return in the long term.
